ellura once-a-day shown to help keep UTIs at bay

Multiple studies prove that taking ellura daily is the best way to inhibit bacteria from sticking to the lining of the urinary tract. If the bacteria can't stick, they are literally flushed away. An effective strategy to help keep the urinary tract clean.

study 01

proanthocyanidins (PAC) in ellura help keep UTI-causing bacteria from attaching to the urinary tract

Summary: ellura helped prevent E.coli from attaching to the urinary tract, thanks to its active ingredient: proanthocyanidins (PAC). If bacteria can’t attach and grow, they can’t cause an infection

study 02

proanthocyanidins (PAC) in ellura shown to prevent UTI-causing bacteria (even antibiotic resistant bacteria) from attaching to the urinary tract

Summary: ellura (known as urell in Europe) significantly decreased the adhesion of E.coli with a dose-dependent effect regardless of antibiotic resistance to bacteria.

study 03

ellura proven to have the most potent PAC compared to other supplements

Summary: ellura was found to have the highest level of PAC and bacterial anti-adhesion activity compared to other supplements (anti-adhesion activity is the ability of the PAC to prevent UTI-causing bacteria from attaching to your urinary tract). 5 out of the 7 products tested had virtually no PAC.

study 04

ellura proven to help reduce catheter-associated UTIs

Summary: people with limited mobility, who require a catheter or have spinal cord injuries are known to have substantially higher risk of UTIs. This study tested ellura’s ability to help prevent catheter-associated urinary tract infections, there were actually NO infections reported during the study period (six months) and no adverse events (side effects) recorded.

study 05

36 mg PAC identified and confirmed as target dose

Summary: This study confirms that 36mg of soluble DMAC/A2 PAC, which is what ellura contains, is the most effective dosage and class of PAC to prevent UTI-causing bacteria from attaching to the urinary tract.

study 06

Most products contain little or no PAC, the active ingredient that prevents UTI-causing bacteria from attaching to the urinary tract

Summary: Cranberry juice cannot currently be recommended for UTI prevention, without the necessary daily dose of 36 mg PAC – the ‘active’ anti-adhesion ingredient.

study 07

ellura shown to be an effective non-antibiotic alternative that helps with UTI prevention

Summary: Recurrent UTI patients went longer without an infection when taking ellura vs. an antibiotic (trimethoprim). This study also confirmed that ellura is safe for children.

study 08

ellura proven to help with the reduction of asymptomatic bacteriuria

Summary: This study showed that ellura is effective in reducing asymptomatic bacteriuria (the presence of bacteria in urine) in patients with bladder reconstruction/augmentation.
